Tips for moving house

Im in the final steps of buying a house, hope to have the keys by the end of January. In the meantime im packing up my models ready for moving. I dont have many 1/43s so they fit into storage boxs. Ive got lots of 1/24 kits and even more 1/18s that take up a lot of space.

What ive done instead of packing them into cardboard boxs (i dont have enough of those anyway) is to get a roll of catering size cling film and wrap 6 models at a time with a final run of packing tape around them. Once you keep similar sized models together and wrap them tight, they wont budge.

On the 1/18s, the edge that has the clear window exposed can be put towards the center of your bundle so that wont get damaged either

good stuff brian, its a mad time moving house, hope it all works out and everything, including you, completes the move with no damage! lol!!

Not in the process of moving just yet but have moved enough times to know how hectic it is. Just getting the importing things packed now so I can take time to pack them properly
