Evans wins....nobody expected Evans to be leading the championship after two rounds least of all Makinen & Ogier!!

After two rounds Neuville has won 10 stages, Evans 9 and Ogier 3. Young Rovenperra won the last stage in Sweden.

The future looks bright for Toyota?

Interesting to see how Ogier reacts now,,....but there again he has won the championship a few times before...

What a weird event but a win is a win especially as Elfyn is the first from these isles to win in Sweden. Now joint leader of the WRC!

Great to see the old bugger Loeb still showing his class. Lots of people losing their cool over the weekend, Neuville, Tanak and Makinen all been mouthing off. Seb just got on with his business.

Breen confirmed for Ypres with Hyundai WRC and gets two competitive runs in the WRC car on two Belgium rallys in the weeks before. Plus seat time this weekend in the R5. Seems they want to give him the best possible chance in the car. If Ott bins it he could be allowed to go for his first win. Surely a full time seat might be possible as Sordo and Seb must be done by now.

Lets just hope Hyundai dont pull the plug on the programme as some worrying stories doing the rounds about their long term view just now.

yep paul. its a strange situation around all sports this year i guess....cant help thinking whoever takes it wont get the same credit as those previous winners who completed full season for theirs...not saying i agree with this, just that it may be the case....

I saw an interesting stat which I haven’t checked - there were 8 events in 95. I doubt anyone would say that years winner wasn’t a worthy recipient- looks like there will be 8 events this year....
